We have been waiting to move to a farm for awhile now. We got a little impatient. We now have chickens in our backyard (sshhhh!). They live in a chicken tractor most of the time, but we love to let them run around. We have so much fun just watching them. They are such pets, too. They follow me around the yard hoping for treats. They both sit in my lap. This one is Pooh. She is a Light Brahma. The other one is Muffin. She is Buff Orpington. We usually get 2 eggs a day from them on top of all the enjoyment. Yes, we are silly.

Until we get there.....

What a terrific transition idea the chickens are! A connection between the city and the country. The neighbors haven't noticed? Maybe if you had started with a rooster you'd be getting more attention... Have fun!
