It may not look like much to you. It's functional, to be sure. It is one end of my clothesline. It's getting quite a workout in this sunny, dry weather we've been having.

But it is also home sweet home to several families of sparrows. They each take an end and set up housekeeping. I hear their little cheeps as I hang out my laundry.

One of those little things that make the days a little sweeter.

Julie, That could be a modern art painting, Charles Scheeler or some such, too! A sort of American Industrial with a hint of Piet Mondrian.
