It's a microplane and it is my new favorite kitchen toy.Hubs has threatened to steal it for his woodworking, but I have it under lock and key.
Let me tell you what this does for Parmesan cheese. It turns it into fluffy air.
I will never zest a lemon with anything else. It was such a satisfying experience.
It also works well with ginger root.
I got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They have such great coupons and are on my beaten path. You can also find them at Amazon and other places that have kitchen tools.

I agree. I thought this was "share and share alike". Not "what's mine is her's, and what's her's is her's.". Don't you see how handy this would be getting paint off of window panes???
