Oh, Glory!


Look! It's a miracle! I have cauliflower growing in my garden!

However pitiful they may be, I still have a couple of cauliflowers and several broccoli plants that didn't get eaten. They have never amounted to much, but they haven't died either. I almost never pull anything up that has any sign of life to it, so there they sat. Now, in the bleak midwinter, they are starting to show signs of life. The onion sets are still there as well. They haven't perked up the way the broccoli and cauliflower have, but they are hanging on for dear life. I'm very excited.

And now it's time to plant tomatoes!!

Lovely!!! I adore cauliflower! It's actually one of my favorite ingredients in creamy soups. I can make my soup stretch just a little further and add just one more veggie to the mix. Win-win!
